Medal Of
Honor: Allied Assault - Multiplayer Modes Although the single-player is excellent, the true frill of play comes from
the multiplayer mode. Once you have a taste of it you'll be hooked and although
it does take a bit of getting used to, you will soon get a feel for each weapon
and be gunning the opposition down like a true hero!
Free-For-All
Free-for-all is the classic game type that pits each player against the
rest. No one is on anyone else’s side; anyone can kill anyone, that’s what
this game mode is all about. Spare change of underwear maybe required!
Team Match
This mode places the Axis against the Allies in true warfare style. You
choose what side you wish to fight for and points are awarded for each frag
(kill) and go towards your team’s total. The side with the most points when
the time limit expires wins the game.

Round-Based Match
Similar to "team match" except when you're fragged you head to
spectator mode. Here you wait along with every other fragged player until one
side has been eliminated. Then the round starts again. Basically when you’re
killed you’re out!
Objective-Based Match
Objective-Based Match is basically Round-Based Match with a twist of giving
each side an objective. This can take many forms, usually involving the allies
having to locate and blow up an object, whilst the axis team has to hold defence
and stop them. It gives an extra edge to the combat and a focus for members of a
team to work together.
Most
objectives will require a bomb or two to be planted. These places are
highlighted with a red glow. If your sides task is to plant them, then head to
the red outline and hold do your "use" key. This will start a timer
showing how long it will take to plant. Once done the game announces it has been
done.
To defuse a bomb again walk up to it and hold the "use" key down.
Realism Mod
If a server is running the realism mod then expect to die a lot easier, and
be limited to 3 grenades, compared to the standard 7.
