Saving Private Ryan when the landing boat door opens and you get the idea.
A difficult weapon to master, it will slow you down something awful when
selected, but if used cleverly can rip through teams initial attacks due
to hits velocity and sheer power. A great weapon to defend a specific
point with, and also a great one to storm in there and send an advancing

By Geist (description) and Jeffrey Lau (stats) Details about how stats are calculated here. *FN M249 Para The M249 is basically a hand-held tank machine gun, it hurls out high calibre rounds and anyone foolish enough to be in its way will be in for some serious pain! The massive magazine is a great advantage as enemies with SMG's will have to reload twice while you are still on your first clip, and you can fill them full of lead in the process. The downside is the horribly slow reload rate, when you eventually run out of ammo, you'll be helpless for around 5 seconds. The recoil is also very high, and you should again resort to bursts, but you can afford to extend the amount of rounds fired in the burst. It can blast through thin objects and the like with ease, so by ripping a few shots into doors that might have an enemy on the other side you might get lucky, but make sure there isnt a hostage or teammate there!
