Map summary...
The map
estate is based around one house. Multiple ways in and out which ensure
heavy firefights :).

Start positions of hostages:
Note: Due to the number of windows and ways into the house
the hostages are usually left in there start positions.
- 1 in the basement area.
- 1 in the pool table room, behind sofa chair.
- 1 under the stairs, near the pool room.
Main
Flash points on the map:
Estate
grounds
From the word 'go' the terrorist players will take up positions at the windows and
some of the CT players will start to make there way across the ground in front of
the house. In the first 20 seconds of the game, it is a case of the CT's advancing on
the house whilst watching every window for signs of movement, while the
Terrorists hold positions and either sniper at the CTs or cover window entrances.
The
Sewer
It's easy for the counter-terrorists to enter the sewers (the entrance is next to
their start positions). However once in them they are faced with one small
vent to climb through to enter the basement. At least one terrorist player
will be in the basement aiming at the vent, ready for a CT to pop his head
out. Grenades work well here. The CT players also have limited time in the
sewers because there is always a chance a terrorist player will enter the
sewers with them and attack them from behind.
Tips and Tactics for lone Terrorist players
-
Camp :). With the way this map is set up, camping
(staying in one place ready to ambush the CTs) is a good tactic and
don't be afraid to use it.
-
The basement is easily defendable.

The
key is to keep out of direct sight of the vent, unless you have night
vision goggles and a high powered weapon, or the CTs will take pop
shots at you and score hits.
The area under the stairs is pitch black and idea for
hiding in. Although don't hide there every round or the CTs will know
your location. Another good spot is right amongst the bricks right next to the vent
opening. When the CTs enter you'll see them first before they see you,
and by the time they do see you, you should have already started
firing :).
-
If your a good sniper then the second the round starts aim a sniper
rifle outside from one of the top floor windows and pick off any CTs
storming the house. Be careful though. Some CTs maybe armed with rifles
and will shoot back :).
-
There are only
2 ways up to the top floor of the house via the flights of stairs.

These can be covered easily by taking up a position at the top of the
stairs. If a team mate is doing the same on the other set of stairs this
creates a perfect ambush point, and ensures a CT player can't dive
around and take you by surprise on the stairs.
-
If a lot of the CTs are taking the sewer route then wait
20 seconds, then exit the house, and head for the sewer entrance. If your
lucky the CTs will be in there still concentrating on the vent. All you
have to do then is fire away and down as many of them as you can in a surprised
attack :).
Tips and Tactics for lone Counter-Terrorist players
-
The vent offers a nice back way into the house, but is
not without it's hazards.
You
can always bet there will be 1, even 2 terrorist players in the
basement waiting for you to crawl along the vent. The key is to use
grenades and above all remain quiet. Any noise from you will alert
them to your presence. Grenades are useful, one flash grenade into the
basement and then make your way along the vent.
-
Although there is a front door to the house, there is
no need to take it :).
This is a
pic from the back entrance, but all around the house the windows are
open ready for you to jump in. This is where flash grenades can come
in useful. You can't be 100% sure if you start to climb through a
window there is not a terrorist lying in wait. One flash grenade
should give you time to enter the window as any nearby Terrorists wait
to be blinded.
-
The hard job is getting into the house. Don't rush it
and be sure to check a window (look into in from 2-3 angles then go
in). Once your in the house you have to be on your toes. The
terrorists will usually be up on the top floor, but as you can see in
the pic above, in the pool table area they can see down on you. Keep
moving and remember. Hostages can only be saved by taken them outside
the front door, this means if there are only 1-2 terrorists left you
can be sure they are waiting around the front door area.
