Counter Strike - Files
Please note. Each of these files will require you to have a Gamespy id.
These are free and you'll be taken through the process once you click on
the file you wish to download.
Local versions of these patches will be on FreddysHouse as soon as
possible.

The
steam client auto updates half-life and counter strike to the latest
versions. It also acts as a server browser and allows you to add
friends to a "buddy" list.
[Note you could download the steam client and let it download all
you need, but I'd recommend getting the patches I've listed before
using steam to save you any headaches if your connection to the
steam updates is interrupted] |

Latest Half-Life & Counter-Strike versions with the steam client:
Download (379MB). Yep 379MB!
This patch gives you all of the above. Only attempt to download on broadband connections.
